Not much going on with the Dougherty family these days, huh?
We're excited to share more good news with you. This year we've been praying about the next step for us as a family, and for my job specifically. Through many conversations and interviews, we feel that God has led us clearly to the right spot. I'm glad to report that I've recently accepted a position at Calvary Church of Souderton as Director of Worship Arts.
Calvary is a suburban church located 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia, PA. Roughly 2000 attend services on a Sunday. We've met some amazing folks during our visits that have been through a lot of transition over the past few years. We have been so warmly welcomed by them and we are excited to begin a new season of life and ministry with the Calvary family. We will miss Park and our Chicago friends immensely. You have impacted our lives in tremendous ways. We look forward to continuing those relationships and hearing how God is moving there in the future. We are glad to be close to family and friends in Philly... and most importantly to raise our son as a Philly sports fan! That would honestly happen wherever we are.
My last Sunday at Park will be Sept 14th and we will move to the Philly area a few day later... 3 weeks!
